HONOLULU (KHON2) — Independent analyses are underway on the cracks in the concrete columns that support the elevated stations along the Honolulu rail line. Reports are expected by the end of this month. 'The trial runs need to be done successfully and the hammerhead cracks need to be addressed appropriately before we can transfer it over to DTS and open,' said Lori Kahikina, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation.
